About Lauren

My Story

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm a thirty-something year old wife and mom of two girls. Originally from the east coast, I was raised in Arizona and love living with my family in the desert! As a traditional classroom teacher for ten years, after the birth of my youngest daughter, I was desiring change. While education has always been my passion, I aimed to refocus my energy and love of educating others from the  classroom to the realm of health and wellness. I accidentally discovered what a health coach was after a conversation with a girlfriend and realized that I could provide much needed services that were practices I already implemented in my own life. I received my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied over a hundred dietary theories. I believe in a holistic approach to living well and the importance of recognizing the interconnection of how our physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual components greatly impact our general quality of life.

Outside of health coaching, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Arizona State University &  Master's Degree in Human Relations in Education from Northern Arizona University. In my personal life, I love to spend time with my family, volunteer, travel, workout, cook, read, and almost all things outdoors...and I can't forgo mention of a solid cold brew, wine, sweatpants, and the occasional Netflix binge.

Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to going on this health journey with you!
